The Levee was birthed out of a need to create. Brandon Funk came to the table with the intention of recording an EP. After enlisting the help of Kyle Schumacher and Michael Stallings to help record his solo project, something happened: the EP turned into an LP, the solo project turned into a band, and after the addition of Tucker Richmond, The Levee released their debut album on May 20, 2011.
